J.A. Wren has being completing valuations for customers since it opened in 1890. It takes a special knowledge of metals, stones and craftsmanship to place a price on a piece of jewellery, a rare watch or a silver candlestick. With today's information technology able to compile a database of known values, J.A. Wren offers the specialised services of SafeGuard to give you the most accurate assesment of the value of your items.

Simply bring your items into our shop where they will be covered by insurance as we value each item and write a report. This report can be given to your insurance broker as a record of your items should they be stolen or damaged with each item assessed for its value.

SafeGuard is totally independent, with valuations provided by the UK’s most experienced valuers who are all FGA qualified or NAG Registered. There are no hidden agendas. SafeGuard is a division of the Birmingham Assay Office, a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing protection for traders and consumers for more than 230 years.
