Wedding Rings

We pride ourselves on having a full range of both modern and traditional wedding rings in yellow gold, white gold and platinum. Many will be familiar with the flat and 'D' shaped wedding ring, but have you heard about the 'Court ring'? The 'Court' ring has a special profile, a shallow D on the outside and a similar D on the inside making it among the most comfortable rings to wear.

We stock a variety of modern wedding rings which have engraved detail or a combination of white and yellow metals, all available in 9ct, 18ct , 22ct and platinum where appropriate. We can also take old wedding rings which may have a sentimental value and make a new ring for you, adding some new gold to allow for the lemel lost during the re-making of the ring. We also have an engraving service that can inscribe on the inside of the ring a very personal message to be remembered and on view only to the wearer of the ring. For those customers more adventurous we can suggest ways of setting diamonds into your wedding ring for an extra sparkle.

Engagement rings

Finding the perfect engagement rings may take some time. At J A Wren we have taken time to choose and stock both traditional and unusual rings. Some regard the solitaire diamond as the quintessential ring however three stone rings have become more popular and our range has been adjusted to mirror this change. Decoration of the sides of the shank (the band the diamond is set into) with small 'pave' set diamonds has also increased as customers begin to see the many styles available.

At the heart of any engagement ring however is the diamond and it is here that J.A Wren can offer you friendly experience to make sure you choose the right stone for you. The 'brilliant' cut round diamond which maximizes the amount of light reflected out of the stone has been the most popular diamond cut of the past 50 years however other cuts like the square shaped 'princess' cut have started to challenge the brilliant cut's dominance. Baguette, oval , triangle and crescent cuts are all available and a combination of styles can be used to make the perfect ring for you. J.
